- Haven't received the 2025 Benefit notice despite six calls since Dec 2024; a Jan 23, 2025 rep cited a printing problem.
It is February 25, 2025, and I still have not received the new 2025 Benefit notice with the changes from last year. I've been calling six times since December 1, 2024, getting the same responses: 'You should have received it by now, I'll have them send it out again.' I've never received any one of them.
(Yes, we check the address each time.) It was from my dentist that informed me I only get two cleanings per year, not the original three cleanings per year. On January 23, 2025, the representative said, '...there's been a printing problem!' I have received a small printed black and white 'booklet' without a cover today. It's dated for January 1, 2024! I think it's the law that insurance companies must inform us, in print, of any change in policies, and before the change in premium.
(Actually, one of the representatives agreed, that's the consumer law.) Yes, I know I can look up the address for yada yada yada...

First I want to say the people answering the phone calls were very good and helpful. But very hard to get to the correct person with the automated questions.
Still not sure why Delta Dental showed I did not have coverage because it is expired, and after many phone calls and 45 minutes later it was validated. This caused me to be late for my appointment and I had to reschedule.

- Difficulty canceling policy; Florida phone support is hard to reach.
- Emails go unanswered; I want to end the policy.
I've been trying to cancel my policy since last week. They make it impossible to get in touch by phone in FL so I've been trying to contact them through email.
And they're not answering. I want to end my policy. I pay quite a bit to make no money as it is and its one bill that I no longer need.
Sure it's lovely when you sign up until you need to contact them for any reason. Then begins the night mare

I have been a customer since Sept. where I bought the policy online and said I had continuous coverage.
I then find out I have to wait to receive benefits because they processed me as not having continues coverage.
I spoke to customer service who filed a grievance and said I had to wait 30 days! WTF!!! I then said we need to expedite because I am not getting what I am paying for. They transfer me to a different department and the woman has an attitude saying she will do me a favor and forward email with proof of continuous coverage but it's not her job.
I call back and nothing has been done and I'm being told I have to wait 30 days for them to process this
THIS IS FRAUD PURE AND SIMPLE.
What I paid for which is full benefits they are not providing I'm talking class action lawsuit situation here.

Still waiting for refund after 6 weeks
- Upgraded from basic to premium within an hour.
- Refund for the first plan promised in 7-10 days, but not received after 6 weeks and two calls.
I first picked the basic plan. Then after considering my options I chose to upgrade to the premium plan.
It was less than 1 hour when I called back and changed the plan. I paid for first 2 months of both plans and was told that I would receive my refund for the first plan in 7-10 days.
Well it's coming up on 6 weeks since then and still no refund after 2 additional calls! Now I see that most dentist don't like to deal with DD because of their poor payment record!

Claims Resolution
- Delta Dental Ortho claim for my son has dragged on for almost a year.
- They have not resolved a $3,500 claim.
CooI have been dealing with a Delta Dental Ortho claim for my son now for almost a year. They have been giving me sideways advice for the longest time and I thought we were finally done and once again, they screwed up on guidance and are still sitting on my claim with 3500 owing to me. Honestly the worst company to deal with and the slowest at claims resolution.
