The organization includes 39 independent member companies, forming a dental coverage throughout the United States. Due to its effective reporting systems and administering programs both patients and employees can find cost-effective and quality dental benefits as well as excellent service. Making dental coverage more affordable and accessible for all who needs it, Delta Dental is recognized to be the largest dental benefits carrier in the country. It was founded in 1954, being the first company to specialize in dental benefits, and since that time this organization has been advancing oral health actively by giving back to the communities it serves. They may be orthodontists; pediatric dentists; oral and maxillofacial surgeons; prosthodontists; endodontists; periodontists; public health dentists; oral pathologists; as well as oral and maxillofacial radiologists.
